Willington Local History Group
Willington Local History Group visit to Tempsford Our first summer visit took the form of a guided tour round Tempsford ending with time to take tea and cake and look at the Tempsford Museum and Archives. The museum and archives in the Stuart Memorial Hall are open from 2 pm to 4 pm on the first Sunday of each month apart from January. There is a fascinating collection of photos, documents and artefacts from the village and surrounding area. One of the highlights of the guided tour was a visit to Gannocks Castle, a medieval moated site just off the main village street.
